.png)
The Southwest Recovery Alliance (SWRA) is a grassroots organization dedicated to the implementation of evidence-based public health strategies, harm reduction strategies, policy transformation, and decreasing our reliance on carceral responses in Arizona.
Southwest Recovery Alliance has been running a peer-led syringe service program since 2019, offering life-saving and life-affirming services.
As of September our website was recently updated and still a work in progress, please bare with us during these changes. Thanks!

What is Harm Reduction?

Harm Reduction emphasizes tolerance, respect for the personal choices of others, and respect for human rights. It favors evidence over anecdote, courage over cowardice, and doing what is right over what is state-sanctioned.
Our message is “We love you, and respect your dignity as a human being.” It means doing what has to be done to protect individual and community health in the face of opposition from all quarters.
